“BAMBOO CURTAIN”

SINGAPORE. They talk now of the Bamboo Curtain—the border of Communist China. Many Malayan Chinese students lured to colleges in Communist China returned “completely disillusioned” according to Singapore C.I.D. Chief R. C. B. Wiltshire. When they tried to return to Malaya, their efforts were opposed by the Peking Government. —Reuter.
