NEW YORK. Charges that men teachers playfully “snapped” brassieres of Madison (Detroit) High School girls are being investigated. Michigan Education Department acted after widespread reports of “improper familiarities.” Most of the teachers resigned following angry protests by parents. Spokesman for the teachers said all they did was put their arms around girls to comfort them when they were distraught.
