UNSUITABLE BIT USED ON RACEHORSE

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 24. On a charge of using unsuitable bit gear on Hclenelte in the Ngnio Hurdles at Trenthom last Saturday, E. Ropiha. a trainer, Foxton, was fined £5 and was severely admonished by the judicial committee of the Wellington Racing Chib at an adjourned meeting held yesterday. For failure io attend a meeting of (lie committee at Trcntbam on Saturday when ordered to do so Ropiha was fined a further £5.
