CHILDREN SAVED FROM CULT SACRIFICE

LONDON, Aug. 29 A Latvian refugee named Pagatzki, who was arrested at the village of Nutzhorn, near Oldenburg, as he was about to sacrifice two small children, has been certified insane, says Reuter’s Hamburg correspondent. Pagatzki, who lived with his wife, two sisters-in-laws, and the women’s 12 children, told the police he was going sacrificially to kill the children .with an axe at sunset to “please God.” The police said Pagatzki had to be quietened with drugs while the women, in a religious hysteria and screaming “Hallelujah” were removed to hospital.
