THREE BOYS BREAK RIGHT LEG IN MATCH
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, Aug. 30. In a fifth-grade association football match at Green Island on Saturday play was halted when 15-year-old William Geeson broke his right leg. An ambulance was called and play was resumed.
After a short interval 14-year-old Jack Christie broke his right leg. The ambulance then arrived and took Christie and Geeson to hospital. The other players continued the match, but not long afterwards 15-year-old Jim Dennison broke his right leg.
The astonished ambulance driver came back again to collect Dennison. The teams finished the match without a further upset.
