ATTEMPTS TO INTERFERE WITH COLT

SYDNEY, Aug. 30.

Several attempts have been made in the last three months to break into the stable and interfere with the unbeaten three-year-old San Domenico. A special lighting system and a burglar alarm have been installed by the owner, Mr. R. Formosa, who refused 15,000 guineas for San Domenico and •who intends taking him to America next year. A few hours after the horse had won his first race in June an attempt was made to break into the owner’s homeAnother followed a month later and three more within the past three weeks. On the last occasion a lock was found broken and the door slightly open, but barking dogs had apparently disturbed the intruder.
