TOLL CALL DELAYS REDUCED

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 20. Toll call delays between Auckland and Wellington have been reduced by up to 80 minutes through the use of a teleprinter for arranging the 150 person-to-person calls between the two centres each day. It is announced that the service will shortly be extended from Wellington to Christchurch.
