JAPANESE HOARDS.— lllegally hidden and hoarded goods valued at 10.000.000.000 yen (£50.000,000) were discovered in Japan between November 1947 and January 1948. In announcing this the Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office said that 267 individual cases of hoarded goods had been handled by the courts in that period.
