900 ARAB TROOPS (11 a.m.) JERUSALEM, Feb. 25. Informed Arab quarters report that 100 lorries, carrying between 700 and 900 Arab troops and machine-guns, mortars and explosives infiltrated to Palestine from Syria and Transjordan during last night. Twelve Jews and five Arabs weie killed and 22 Jews, 19 Arabs and five British wounded in shootings on Tuesday, mostly in the Jerusalem area, says Reuter’s correspondent.
