PIG PRICES SLUMP

SECOND Da\Y’S FALL NEW YORK, Feb. 24. Hog prices dropped sharply for the second successive day on the big midwestern livestock markets today. The price dropped as much as 1 dollar per 1001 b at the big Missouri River markets 75 cents at other corn-belt trading centres and 50 to 75 cents at Chicago. The market declined one to one and a half dollars yesterday. Cattle prices at most markets were steady.
