Expenditure estimated to total £240 was recommended by Mr H. H. Barker. >n behalf of the visiting committee, in , report to Monday's meeting of the \tok Hospital Board. The recommended works included the provision f sun-blinds for the north-west winlows of Ward 1; the installation of a ocond telephone and also laundry acuities in Trafford Block and the furnishing and reconditioning of the oatents’ sitting-rooms in the same block; and the laying of carpet squares in three staff sitting-rooms and the reconditioning of furniture in the nurses' home, rite report also recommended that a rqivd carpet runner in the old nurses' home be replaced. The report was adopted, and the proposed improvements authorised.
