24 HOURS AT LARGE (P A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 24. After 24 hours’- freedom, James Thomas Scott, who escaped from Hautu prison camp, near Tokaanu, on Sunday, was recaptured at Tongariro bridge on the Taupo-Turangi highway at 8-45 las, An hour and a half after Scott escaped, a bach on the Taupo-Turangi highway, the property of Dr. R. Harvey, Napier, was broken into and a rifle and a box of ammunition were removed.
