Bus Tragedy Inquest Concluded

The inquest into the deaths of Okeron Raroa, Brenda Carey, Daisy Howard, Hine Campbell and Sophie Mita. five of the women killed in the motor omnibus accident at Tahaenui on May 24, was concluded in Wairoa on Saturday. After formal evidence had been given by a number of witnesses, the jury returned a verdict that the women had met their deaths as the result of an accident between an omnibus driven by Denby William Boyd and a motor truck driven by Roy Charles Sturm on the Nuhaka-Wairoa main highway. A rider was added that on all motor trucks the square edge of the tray should be rounded off.—S.R. '•'•ViViViViVi'.ViV.W.ViViV
