MURPHY’S BOXING PLANS

(P.A.) AUCKLAND. Sept. 20. To seek fights in Britain, the boxer Bos Murphy left in the liner Rimutaka for London today. He said he expected to be in England for about six weeks before he would try to obtain any match. He added that he intended “to fight his way round England” and hoped ultimately to attempt “some title.” He is accompanied by another Wellington boxer, Johnny McKenna, who is also seeking experience overseas.
