LONDON WOOL SALES

6344 BALES FROM N.Z. HOME TRADE'S ACTIVITY LONDON, Sept. 19. At the continuation of the wool sales today the offerings totalled 15,335 bales and 15,105 were sold. The offerings included 6344 bales from New Zealand and 7506 from Australia.

The home trade secured about 85 per cent of the offerings. France competed actively. The selection of wools was moderate.

The offerings catalogued for the second week of the series total 35.431 bales, comprising 12,612 from New Zealand, 19,934 from Australia and 3885 from South Africa.
