When nominal ions for new members ueie called for the response was very encouraging. t!S bam: proposed, including at least seven prospective seniors. Mr. C. G. Wall then announced that the senior team of the Technical Old Boys’ Football Club, Napier, would visit Gisborne at. Easter to play Old Boys’ senior team, and members were urged to do all they could to help billet the team. When formal proceedings were completed a light supper was served, and members took advantage of the opportunity to make acquaintance with newcomers. The large attendance, their enthusiasm, and the past achievements of the club make the prospects for a successful season very bright, indeed. It was announced that club practices would commence on Saturday, March 16.
