WORLD MEMORIAL

PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT PRACTICE OF IDEAS LONDON, Jan. 17. An organisation in London has been launched to commemorate President Roosevelt by the world-wide practice of his ideas. The Roosevelt World Memorial Association is supported by leading statesmen of the United Nations and anticipates aid from all public organisations to implement its practical recommendations in memory of President Roosevelt. The association hopes that some form of commemoration may be observed in the United Kingdom on January 30, the anniversary of Mr. Roosevelt’s birth, thus following the lead from New York, whose people have asked the United States Government to declare the day a public holiday.
