HOUSING PROGRAMME
CHECK IN AUSTRALIA CANBERRA, Jan. IG. The Government housing programme would take some time to recover from the recent steel and coal strike, says Mr. H. P. Lazzarini, Minister for Housing. Between April, 1944, and December, 1945, 3077 homes were built under the programme and another 45G7 were building at the end of last year. The State Governments had completed 1246 throughout the Commonwealth.
