DEATH AT APIA

(9 a.m.) APIA, July G. The death has occurred of Mr. R'oy Karris Brown, manager of the Apia branch of Burns, Philp (South Seas) Company. Limited. He was 51 years of. age. He died suddenly yesterday morning from heart trouble. He leaves a widow and one son. The other son was killed in action in Italy The deceased was a returned soldier of the 1914-18 war. He had been in the service of the company Since August. 1910, arriving in Apia trb'jri Haapai, Tonga, in May, 1929, to take over the managership of the Apia branch. He took a prominent paid in public affairs and was president of the local Chamber of Commerce and also master of Lodge Calliope No. 252.
