CARRIED ON WOUNDED
FLT. LIEUT. McNEIL, D.F.C,
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Dec. 0. Flight. Lieutenant Jan James McNeil,. who. was recently awarded the D.F.C . was wounded by anti-aircraft lire during a photographic reconnaissance. but carried on and secured an excellent photograph. Now on his second operational tour, he has more recently been encaged in marking targets for naval bombardment, and has achieved some excellent: results.
. . "As a flight commander lie lias invariably displayed cod judgment, courage, and great devotion to duty.” states the citation. His father is Mr. J. 11. McNeil, of Tikitiki.
