Protest by Women
Protests at the position in which housewives and industries have been placed through the shortage of coal and the consequent gas restrictions in Auckland, have been made to tire Prime Minister and the Minister of Mines bv the New Zealand Housewives' Association. In the letter to tile Prime. Minister the association said that a position was being created, especially in Auckland which reflected no credit on the Minister of Mines and his department.
