FIVE INDUSTRIALISTS CALL-UP~"CRITICISED LONDON, Oc.t. 30. Five German industrialists who appealed to the Nazis on belialf oi •several hundred big businessmen to show more unaerstandmg ol German industry's vital interests in the Volkssturm call-up have been arrested, says the Daily Mail’s correspondent in Geneva. They are chargea with trying to sabotage war production, and >vnl be tried for treason.
The Munchener Nachricliten says: "Any attempt to ojupose .the mass levy will be implacably suppressed and traitors will die at the end of a rope.”
