, p a ) WELLINGTON. Oct. 30. Flight-Sergeant Archibald Malcolm Charles Alexander who was seriously iniured when a R.N.Z.A.F. Ventura bomber crashed near Whenuapai on Thursday, died ori Saturday moirnn,. The other four members of the crew were killed in the crash, and Flight Sergeant Alexander was removed to lhe°statio'n hospital at Whenuapai suffering from serious burns. ..... Flight Sergeant Alexander enlisted in the Pt.NiZ.A.F. in June. .1941, and qualified as a wireless operator-air "unner. Prior to . enlistment he v_ts employed in Christchurch He was ,25 years of age. He was trained in Canada and returned to New Zealand for dutv, subsequently, serving in a torpedo-bomber squadron and later a bomber reconnaissance squadron ]U the Pacific. He was married _ m Canada and his wife arrived in New Zealand recently. His mother is Airs. E. L. Alexander. Christchurch
