SWIFT RETURN OF TROOPS
Both the Republican keynote and the Republican platform put great emphasis on the swift return ox American troops when the ends, states the New York Times. The keynote said; "This is our job to get our boys back home, victorious and with all speed.” The platform said. ‘‘At the earliest possible time after the cessation of hostilities we will bring home all members of our armed forces who do not have unexpned enlistments and who do not volunteei for oversons duly.’*
