JAP. TARGETS ATTACKED (British Official Wireless.) (11 a.m.) RUGBY, March 23. A communique issued in New Delhi states: “On Monday the Royal Air Force was active over several parts oi Burma. A strong formation of Blenheims attacked an important Japanese transit camp at Prome with high explosives and incendiary bombs. Many hits were observed on the target and fires were left burning. The camp was also attacked by fighters. “In the Arakan area enemy positions at Laungc'haung and Kalachaung were bombed and machine-gunned and bombs were also dropped on Akyab. In the Katha district, objectives at Sinbo were attacked and large fires were started. On Monday night Hudsons bomber the dispersal areas at Magwe aerodrome. None of our aircraft* is missing.”
