FIGHTING AT BOGUCHAR GERMANS REINFORCED (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (3 p.m.) LONDON, July 13. To-night’s Soviet communique states: “To-day Soviet troops were engaged in fierce fighting with the Germans who broke through in the region of Voronezh. In the region of Boguchar, strenuous fighting with enemy tanks and infantry continued. East ’of Lisichansk, our troops retreated according to plan to new positions. On other sectors of the front, no important changes took place. Boguchar is 300 miles due east of Kharkov and about 150 miles southeast of Voronezh. A supplement to the communique adds that the situation in the region of Voronezh is still grave, but the Russians are repelling attacks and inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. South of Boguchar, Soviet forces only withdrew after the Germans had added reinforcements to .their already superior numbers.
