A further list of N.Z.E.F. casualties issued to-day contains the names of eight soldiers from the Gisborne district, including one dead, one missing three prisoners of war, two believed to be prisoners and one wounded. In yesterday’s list of casualties, released by the Army Department, an error occurred in respect of the next-of-kin of a soldier now reported a prisoner of war. The soldier is Sapper Francis Lowe, and his next-of-kin is his wife, Mrs. P. F. Lowe, 782 Childers Rd., Gisborne. Sapper Lowe is the second son of Mr. Bert Lowe and the late Mrs. Lowe, /Gisborne and was reported missing in May last, after serving through the Greek and Cretan campaigns.
