An Auckland girl, Miss Patrica M. Webb, has been admitted by Mr. Justice Fair as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, on the motion of her lather, Mr. T. Clifton Webb. Mr. Errol G. Knox, managingdirector and editor-in-chief of the Argus, Melbourne, and president of the Australian Newspaper Proprietors’ Association, has arrived at Auckland on his way to London. Lieutenant-Commander R. Rowsell, naval officer in charge, Lyttelton, has relinquished this appointment as from December 1, 1941, and is proceeding on leave. Lieutenant-Commander A. D. Boyle has succeeded to this appointment.
