PRISONER OF WAR
.MANGAPAPA SOLDIER Another Gisborne soldier of whom it was last officially reported that he was missing has communicated with his relatives from a transit camp for prisoners of war in Crete. He is Private H. J. Burborough, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Burborough, Valley road, Mangapapa, who was reported missing after the Battle of Crete. His last letter received in New Zealand, prior to this week, was dated May 16, before the opening of the Cretan campaign. Private Burborough is one of three sons of Mr. and Mrs. Burborough serving with the forces. He left New Zealand with the first transports.
