LIKELIHOOD OF ATTACK “NEVER BY JAPANESE” (Reed. Dec. 2, 3 p.m.) BANGKOK, Dec. 1. The Bangkok radio, commenting on foreign reports that a Japanese attack on Thailand might be expected in a few days, asserted: “Thailand will never be attacked by Japanese troops.” The Bangkok correspondent of the Associated Press of America states that the American Consulate has again advised Americans living in Thailand to be prepared to leave in the event of an emergency.
