ALLIED DIPLOMATS

TALK WITH MR. HULL (British Official Wireless.! Reed. It a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 23. British. Australian and Netherland diplomats, including the British Ambassador, Viscount Halifax, met the Secretary for State. Mr. Cordell Hull, on Saturday morning to discuss the Far Eastern situation, according to an agency message from Washington. It is presumed that they were ncanainted with the trend of the United States-Japanese talks now taking place at Washington. While they had been kept informed of events, this was the first occasion on which Mr. Hull had conferred with them all together. ■Mr. Hull said that the meeting was purely for an exchange of information and indicated that no official announcement would be made.
