DECLINE IN MORALE
ITALIAN NAVAL FORCES LONDON, Nov. 1". Although the morale of the Italian Navy has fallen, the present strength of Italy’s fleet should not be underestimated', said the Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean Fleet, Admiral Sir Andrew Cunningham. Sir Andrew said he had been much impressed by the United States naval observers. They had shown a total disregard for danger , : in obtaining every scrap of information.
