“This man is spending 99 per cent of his time on essential war work,” said an appellant employer, wher seeking exemption for an employer at a sitting of the No. 1 Armer" forces Appeal Board in Auckland. “It would be interesting to know what, be does in the other 1 per cent of his time,” remarked the chairman Mr. C. R. Orr-Walker, S.M. “Filling in the time-book,” suggested appellant with a smile.
