RAID ON CHUNGKING
FIFTEEN CHINESE KILLED (Reed. Aug. 11, 9 a.m.) CHUNGKING, Aug. 9. Flying over in two waves 140 Japanese planes yesterday bombed Chungking. A bomb explosion near a waterfront dug-out killed 15 Chinese and injured a score. The raiders flew over the safety zone, but did not drop any bombs there.
