PLUTUS DROPS DEAD

WON £BOOO IN STAKES (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Plutus, one of the best-known pacers in New Zealand, dropped dead nt the stables of the trainer, C. S. Donald, at Belfast on Sunday. Plutus won more than £BOOO in stakes and his wins included three Free-for-AU races. He was nine years old, by Nelson Derby—Fanny Logan. He was owned by Mr. W. J. Gridsell.
