In a broadcast message to British women, the famous American journalist, Miss Dorothy Thompson, said she would tell American women on her return about the women she had seen at air stations doing accurately and brilliantly all the work that could be taken off the shoulders of men, women in the army and wonderful women in relief stations, hospitals and fire stations.
