LORD PERRY’S ATTACK BRITISH CIVIL SERVICE (Reed. Feb. 21, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 20. Mr. William John Brown, general -ecretary of the Civil Service Clerical Association, said that Lord Perry’s attack on the civil servants in the House of Lords would be fiercely re•ented from the top to the bottom of he service because his statements were ill-founded. Possibly there was a case for revising the relationship between the Government and the Civil Service and also the Civil Service generally.
