BRITISH REGRETS
GREEK NAVAL LOSS SYMPATHY EXPRESSED (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Aug. 16. The First Lord ol' the Admiralty, Mr. A. V. Alexander, has sent the following telegram to the Greek Minister of Marine in Athens: “It was with the greatest regret that I heard that the cruiser Helle, while taking part in the ceremonies of the Festival of the Assumption, was sunk by a submerged submarine. “On behalf of the Board of the Admiralty and officers and men of the Royal Navy, I wish to express profound sympathy with the Royal Greek Navy.”
