NAZI TALE DENIED
VICTORY UNSCATHED (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 3 p.m. RUGBY. Aug. 15. On inquiry at the Admiralty,to-day it was learned that, contrary to the claim contained in a German communique that during yesterday s attacks on Portsmouth H.M.S. Victory was hit and frer flag standard blown into the sea, no damage whatever has been suffered by H.M.S, Victory.
