OBITUARY

MR. F.. C. STACKWOOD Mr. Ernest Charier. Staekwood, wiio died in tlisborne on Sunday, was formerly a resident of the Wairarapa district. For several years he was farming in the Lower Valley. lie is survived by his wife and Miss Conny Staekwood, who were both patients in the Cook Hospital, besides another daughter, Mrs. K. Scott, Petone. Mr. Staekwood was 7G years of age, and was born at Wood-End, North Canterbury, and spent some years in Poverty Bay before taking up residence in the Wairarapa. The family returned to Gisborne recently.
