ALLEGED ESCAPEE REMAND GRANTED 1 (Tor Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day Following an arrest made at New Plymouth yesterday as a sequel to a series of burglaries in the past few days, Kenneth Hugh Bennetts appeared in the Police Court to-day when he was remanded in custory till Wednesday. He was charged with escaping from custody at Waikune and. breaking and entering the premises of Avery" and Sons, booksellers. Tiie police stated that there would be further charges against the accused
