Renovations to Post Office

Hitherto of a drab grey appearance, the Palmerston North Post Office presented a bright, new face to the new year, following the completion of additions and alterations lo the building. It has been painted in a rich cream tone, and the turning on of the floodlighting system for the first time at midnight on Sunday completed the transformation. The floodlighting of the long front of the building facing the Square gave Palmerston North’s civic and business centre a new dignity.
