The concluding day of the Auckland Trotting Club’s mooting was held in fine weather The track was fast. There was a large holiday crowd. Results:--
Green Lane Handicap, of £225; (3.45), 11 miles. —4-4 Leelecta, limit (Broughton), 1; 2-2 Audrey’s last, 12 yds. (Gerrard), 2; 6-6 Frontier Boy, 12yds. (Garnett), 3. Scratched; Worthy Worker. A length; a neck. Times, 3.32, 3.31 2-5. 331 3-5.
