BREACH OF REGULATIONS (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. George Roberts, aged 18, was fined 10s and costs in the Police Court today for using and maintaining apparatus capable of transmitting wireless signals. The prosecution, in stressing the seriousness of the offence, the penalty for which was £SOO, stated that the station was found in a condition in which it could not transmit, but was in a position which could be easily remedied. The broadcast was confined to gramophone recordings.
