Fireside Club

The monthly meeting of the Bright Street Methodist Young Married Women's Fireside Club was held at the home of Mrs. R. Alley, Northeote road,- on Wednesday night, Mrs. F. E. Leadley presiding over a good attendance of members.

The sitting-room was artistically decorated with shaded stocks, Iceland poppies and lilac.

Arrangements for the final meeting of the year, which takes place next month, were discussed, and an exchange of recipes was enjoyed.

Vocal solos were charmingly rendered by Mesdames Alley, D. Tarr and Somerville, and Mrs. Mason was heard to advantage in a pianoforte solo. The accompaniments were played by Mrs. Elliott with sympathetic understanding.

Supper was served informally
