SOCIALISATION AIM FEILDING DEMAND (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. Following a lengthy discussion on legislation affecting the farming industry, the Feilding branch of the Farmers’ Union, unanimously passed the following resolution: —“That while farmers in the Feilding district are prepared to do their full share to prosecute the war to a successful conclusion and, in this spirit, are prepared to accept a temporary commandeer of their produce, they are determined to resist to the utmost any efforts made in the socialisation of their industry.

“Failing an immediate assurance from the Government, that the commandeer regulations will be repealed at the termination of the war, the farmers of this district. refuse to support any .co-ordination schemes put forward by the Government.
