SUMMERTIME PLAN (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 21. 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Ocl. 20. The Federal Cabinet has decided not to introduce daylight saving in Australia. The Ministers were influenced in the decision by the experience of the last war when, after a brief experience of the system, it was unanimously rejected by the Cabinet with the support of the general public.
