i (Kloc. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 20, NoOn.) STOCKHOLM, Oct. 19. I The Nordic conference ended today and tiie delegates dispersed. So far no statement lias been issued. The four rulers broadcast from the castle. Tiie King of Sweden stressed the importance of Nordic solidarity and the ardent hope that the northern States would eb able to contribute to the re-establishment of peace. The Ki.~- rsf Denmark struck a note of hopefulness, which lie said was helped by the loyal co-operation of the northern States. The King of Norway hoped that the Scandinavian friendship and cooperation would be a model for the world. The President of Finland. M. Kallio, said that Finland was determined to defend her independence, to which cause the support of the Scandinavian countries had taken expression in tiie action leading to the conference.
