Special Service Held At Holy Trinity Church
There was a very large congregation in Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth, last night when a special service was held for “those leaving school this year.” Mr Bevan Holdgate, of the Grey Main School, conducted the service of Evensong, with special prayers. The Second Lesson was read by Mr W. M. Stewart, M.A., Principal of the Greymouth Technical High School. Miss Janet Dunshea sang the solo, “O Loving Father.” The sermon was preached by the Vicar, the Rev K. G. Aubrey, his text being the counsel of the aged Paul to young Timothy, “Hold fast the form of sound words which thou hast heard.”
