‘ELECTIONS’ IN KOREA
HONG KONG, August 13 (Rec. 11 a.m.). —The Chinese Communist News Agency, in a despatch from Pyongyang, the North Korean capital, said today that elections of representatives to the Peoples Congress were: “successfully held in the newly-liber-ated Kangwon and Kyungki provinces of Southern Korea between August 4 and August 6”. The report said that the Congress would be convened at county, district and village levels.
